Biggest Takeaway: Management is a process, like manufacturing, to output a product. If you don't have a process for this product, your output will be shit.
After reading Only The Paranoid Survive, I was super excited to read his previous book on management principles. The book was solid, but I can see (due to its age) how so many of his principles have been lifted and taken in the decades following this book from other authors. Much of the content I was already familiar with, but this was a distilled, direct, and clear/quick read to revisit the fundamentals of management.
