Another banger by Andrew S. Grove (I reviewed his other management book here).
Absolutely loved this book. 8/10. Written almost 30 years ago, it held true through the test of time navigating the big shifts and crisis of Intel - but with real-world application for any company who is faced with navigating the ever-changing forces of business. I found this book to be a practical gut check for me to stay humble and think about what I must do (and how to identify) when faced with the major distruption in my space.
"... most companies don't die because they are wrong; most die because they don't commit themselves.” - Andrew S. Grove
Biggest Takeaway: Remain vigilant against change. And have the courage to push into your vision when you know it's the right decision for the long term.
Here are my notes, action items, and lessons learned.
