Cal Newport is a legendary author – and one of my favorites. He's one part scientist (quite literally at MIT and now at Georgetown), one part philosopher, and one of the best authors for challenging how we approach life.
In his latest book, Slow Productivity, Cal challenges the modern work ethos. He highlights the radically different approach of world-changing individuals from our past and how slow and steady is the key to incredible impact.

Biggest Takeaway: There is enough time in each day, week, and month to accomplish great things. Being consistent, focused on quality each day, far outweighs a frenzied and hurried state.
