This week I returned from Design Pickle's annual planning sessions in Chicago. Aside from my poor decision to wear Nike Metcons during a freak snowstorm, the trip was inspiring, motivating, and most of all, incredibly rewarding. I firmly believe the best way to build deep connections and team trust is through IRL experiences.
The last few months have been intense. In addition to annual planning, I’ve launched a new podcast (below), navigated natural team turnover at Design Pickle, and kicked off a major branding project for Design Pickle. Halloween came and went, a marathon week for anyone with elementary school-aged kids, I successfully navigated the annual family photoshoot with minimal tears, and my puppy Cora continues to be, well, a puppy with limitless energy in that 14 lb ball of fur.
But what gets me the most excited is something I started years ago, Personal Annual Planning. So much so, I am opening this up to you, for free in a few weeks. Let’s dive into it, as well as other big updates across the Pickleverse.

I'm insanely proud and excited to share the rebirth of my podcast, Jar of Genius. Now in its 3rd version, I've stepped into the role of Co-Host with my creative partner in crime, Jeremy Finlay.

Our new format is all about how anyone can apply creativity in their life (both personal and professional) and we're on a mission to explore this topic from all angles.

What's Ahead?
2025 is shaping up to be an insane year, and I can't wait to share more about what's in store. As I mentioned at the top of this letter, I spent the week with Design Pickle’s senior leadership team setting our strategy and lining up the first quarter for 2025.
I have so much gratitude for these individuals. I am surrounded by excellence and it's a stark reminder that nothing great can be built alone. On our docket is an ambitious plan which includes, but is not limited to:
Expanding our white-label experience for our platform. Including more features for our clients to use under their own brand with our creative process experience.
A new brand for Design Pickle
Our 10-Year Anniversary for Design Pickle this January
Entirely new creative and ad campaigns
Deep improvements to the creative service experience to further expand the scope and availably of our creatives
2025 is going to be a great year.
